Aiyoyo...I think I'm going to burst my budget of $700+ by alot.See ah,I intend to get a Rally LP GL-400 WH($420.00)...then I wanna get a Zoom G2.1U multi-effects pedal($200+??)...so the most I can spend is $200 on an amp with good cleans...any amps around this price with superb clean?I'll go try the Sound Drive SG-10 tomorrow@SV,but reviews are saying that it's a pretty loud amp.But clean-wise,seems to be good.Any other practise amps with superb cleans around this price range???
And I think I'm GAS-ing already!_!I got the urge to ask mike to upgrade the Rally to Telsa pickups...but then will rly ka-boom my budget ahah!

Second hand Roland Cube 30x is your best bet, i got mine for S$180 on the forum. Great basic clean sound, no need to mess with tubes and maintenance, seems to resell easily....

TS, are you mcuosver registering a new nickname to ask the same old questions? why don't you just get a craftsman package, end of story.

er who's this mcuosver????

btw, yes,I'm getting the Vox Pathfinder 15R.all the reviews i've read are praising it's clean sound ,the reverb and the standard Vox tremolo.and since i'm using a pedal,i'm not rly gonna have to care abt the boost on the Vox.just happy to know it has a good clean sound.
hmmm...so far i only know City Music sells the Vox.but any idea how much?/where else?

Sole distributor IF I'm not wrong. Heard of a telephone before? Go to the site, get their number, and dial.

And Fiona, this is not MSN. No need to post if you got nothing to say.

Rendezvous "likes" this post.

HAHA.
anyway,if you don't wanna get 2nd hand for your gears.
i have no how idea ur gonna keep to your budget.either that or get an amp with onboard effects that you can play with. Then you can ditch the multi-efx.

yeah second that, a roland cube with in-built effects should be good enough at this juncture, until you are clearer of what tone you are looking for while saving enough money for that. perhaps by then, with better understanding, you might consider single efx pedals even.

It's true the SG-10 is quite a loud amp for its relatively low wattage, but it can be very soft as well, just to let you know... It's 10-watts, after all. Definitely suitable for bedroom use, and with good clean tones as well.

Word of advice. If you have something in mind, you've tried them out and you like that plan, don't compromise. Wait longer and save up if you have to. It's worth it, believe me... I waited a very long time to get my first electric guitar and amplifier, and it was worth it.

Listen to him. I'm not sure how well the low powered amp will perform at higher volumes, but it's really about personal preference. If you really like the sound and feel, don't compromise.

TRY THE STUFF OUT. The dumbest thing anyone can do is to skip that. Don't be shy. We all sucked once.
Actually I still do. But yeah. No need to be shy.
You can like wear sunglasses if you really want.

your point being? are you going to post that on every single thread where you can't be of assistance???

Are you?

What the hell is that even supposed to mean?? The guy had a completely valid point. What's the point of posting in a thread with a question directed to the entire forum with "idk lol"?

Point was made in an earlier post, if you've bothered reading.
What's the point of posting if YOU aren't contributing to the discussion?
Don't reply. Thanks.

Really sorry for off-topic, lcaltrock. Have you decided on what you're gonna get?

Well, followed the link of my thread, and I do admit there are some similarities.I probably SHOULD HAVE used the Search function just to make sure.
However, what Revelt is saying here completely contradicts what he's trying to tell jskadiang.I wanna know how you're contributing to my thread over here?

Btw,lcaltrock,pm me maybe we can get gear together since we're looking for the same stuff. And just ignore those people who aren't helping much. -_-

dont get that shit guitar, dont get the MFX either, get a proper 2nd hand guitar off Soft and get a decent amp with Built in effects~
