Hi. I am trying to get a budget strat. But any intro?
I thought of getting CORT guitar. maybe M or G series.
Can anyone tell me the price range? and sold where?

What about SQUIRE? I dun think those China made are worth it?
So what should i do?

I was thinking if i build my own guitar!!
Can anyone that know about this give me some tips. thanks.
If i wanna build my own guitar, like buying 1 body, 1 neck and then other pups. How is it?

Buy from shop like Davis guitar shop? or Buy from someone else?
What makes a body a good 1?

There's a review of the Cort m200 in the forum by subversion. Read up on it.

I've never played a squire before surprisingly spoilt by nice guitars so I can't comment.

Those guitar bodies at Davis are unfinished. Not worth the time effort and money to assemble one for me.

Btw, here's part of a dialogue between my friend and his teacher at yamaha.

Friend: "Wah the instrument so expensive but sound very good leh. Cheap one can sound good or not ah?"

Teacher: "Can what. Good cheap sound lor! "

Hahah yup that discussion my friend had with his teacher is so absurd >.< and so true at the same time.

Btw the cort and the squire are totally different animals, one is a humbucker set neck and the other a single coil bolt on. Hence they will not sound alike. You gotta know what style you want to play first and purchase the right guitar within your budget.

if you're thinking of a cort g series...i'd say its a good beginners-intermediate guitar..cort makes really good guitars..my very first guitar was a cort and i never regretted having it..go try it..corts are under-dogged in singapore...

better buy a cort now while the company is still "not-so-well-known", while their guitars are still good and cheap, before they start getting big and their guitars start to become shit and expensive :lol: :lol: :lol:

anw mi experience with cort is that they make very affordable and value for $$$ guitars

many of my friends have gone the ibanez RG route, some the MIJ strat route.. i guess both are pretty safe eh?
