hi there..
this is e thing...
i haven not played my bass for quite a long long time...
so today i decided to change e strings and while im trying to tune it, i realize there's no sound coming out from my bass! as in i plug it into my amp and nothing comes out...
initially i tout it was e cable, and i tried with another guitar, and it works..
so i think it's e problem with the bass guitar...
wonder if it's e jack or pickup..

how much would it cost to fix the bass at luthermusic or davis??
or what problem could it be???

urgent.. help help.. i need my bass for some event coming this sat!!!

If its an active bass, try changing the battery.

If this doesn't work, try opening up the control cavity to check for any loose wires. If there are any, you can just solder them back yourself. If really desperate and no time to trouble shoot, bring down to either luther or maestro. Shouldnt be too expensive if its just a wiring job. =)

if its a passive bass its unlikely to be a pickup problem.

most likely due to jack input becoming loose / cable loose
