I'm very interested in learning a guitar whether acoustic or electric.
So i'm hoping if there're people out that who are willing to help in:

An affordable guitar that's below $300
Lessons online or music schools that are good.
Amps and gear to get.
How to start off.
And what should i know in order to start right

I can dedicate at least 3 hours a day into learning a guitar due to schooling.
Hoping that there'll be help

$300 for guitar and amp?or just guitar?

what are your influences?

if you can afford a teacher would be great otherwise study from websites.

Just the guitar
I have a spare amp that i can use.
If the lesson is commendable and affordable. I wouldn't mind getting it.
But it'll be great if u would gimme webbys for rookies learning guitars

dude he might have left his guitar un-stringed.possibility there would be neck warp.thats 1st lesson neck warp or neck bow or neck bend.

So you gettin elec of acoustic?.
mayb you could ask other softies to teach you for a fee. check out the teachers wanted sec.

I'm not sure. an electric would be fine as i've a spare amp.
@ ShredNoob So i guess that solves the teaching part.
@ Dime Thanks for info!

So are there any guitars worth getting.. but below $300 =[

If you are a NLB member, one of the best things to do is to get the following DVDs.

1. Fender presents getting started on electric guitars
2. Fender presents getting started on acoustic guitars

Both by Keith Wyatt.

They are awesome with:
1. Easy explainations and demo's throughout the video (both 3 hours plus). I always find looking at someone showing you is a 1000 times better than reading a fat book.
2. Basic theory on open chords, power chords, Barre Chords and movable chords. There is some more too which I am yet to look at
3. Practise tracks.

Hope that helps! My 2 cents only...

I feel that you should invest in a good amp (check the reviews section) while if you are on a budget, get a lower end guitar for a start. I would recommend an amp of at least 30watts for home use. 15 watts amp sucks in sound quality.

Once you have been playing around for some time, you probably have a better feel of what sounds and type of guitar u really want. This is then the time to upgrade your axe.

For a total beginner, you might want to check out resources on the internet. A good place to start would probably be ultimate guitar.com. They really have lots of stuff there and you will probably need to spend some time to organise the lessons.
