EDIT-does anyone know how to check the serial no? and what series is it from? does it have rolled edges?

should be.the buyer has quite high ratings.

check fender's site to see. i think they have can provide a date and build location.

edit: the neck looks genuine to me. looks alot like my highway 1 strat's neck.

yes. it's quite a recent revision. if that american neck doesn't include this feature, it's most prob an old version... (likely to be pre-1999).

the serial number is @ the headstock- check both front & back...

looks like an early 200s american standard neck.
