hi guys,
I was wondering if something similar had happened to you and how did u all resolve it?Is it just my luck?
This is the second time i have encountered this problem. The first was when i sold a power unit to a fellow softie, but he only complained abt the product after more than a week and said it was faulty. I deal-ed with his friend and he passed it to him after that, so the item changed a few hands before getting to him... Well, it was resolved eventually but there comes this recent encounter...
I sold an amp to another member, after 3 days, he sent me an sms saying the on/off LED light was not working(which was the one and only LED on the small tube amp). He claimed that he did not know if the LED on a tube amp would light up when on, since it was the first one he had. He demanded that i go collect the amp and repair it. Would you accept this, knowing that you tested the item( and it was perfectly fine!) before selling and it was in mint condition (with product tags still on)?
I agreed to even split half the cost of repair, giving the benefit of doubt but he demanded more than that. What would u all do considering these circumstances? ( He is now threatening to go to the "relevant" authorities)
I have had so far sold and traded more than 70 items in the past 2-3 yrs and these are the few cases that i am really irritated abt, not counting my fair share of unreasonable lowballers and peolple who dont turn up on the very day of the deal.
HELP!
