Heavy guitar sound.....

This nonsense happened once already. Is it gonna happen again? man_kidal, do you always have to display your immaturity? Does the word peace mean anything to you?

Really, just pm each other to settle it nicely, and save all us softies from reading unnecessary nonsense.

really i don't mean to post that unnecessary reply but james really must do something about him...even if he pm me which i think something so attention seeking like him won't bother to, i think i won't bother to read what he has to say..so there..

YJM's will fit in all three positions and will be good for blues and rock.

but im sure man kidal is playing thru a SX strat copy copy. :D

hey guys... im using a dimarzio heavy blues on my strat... and im seriously considering changing it to a hs-3 or YJM.. anyone has a yjm and wants to TRADE???? maybe someone who has 3 yjms in their guitars...might wanna have a beefier bridge single coil??

haha sorry your excellency man_kidal but i never claimed to be so mature, and yeah i meant to take a dig at your guitar  Chan that's pure evil.....hehe

Get a high gain amp. Paul gilbert uses his same PGM for his recordings for Racer X. He just cranked up his amp real hard.

But if you want heavy sounding guitar, you should get a heavier body guitar. The wood and the body does affect the sound. A Les Paul is always a good recommendation for heavy metal. You can also try the S series of ibanez. B.C rich is also good for heavy metal.

A heavy body affect how the pickups sing. A les paul sound is created using a big chunk of wood and humbuckers. So if you want heavy sound, get a relatively heavy body.

thats a very sweeping statement you made there

not ALL esps and jacksons are neck throughs, and the guitar being neck through dosent make it sustain well automatically. there is much more to that
