Hey,

So, I'm looking for headphones, not too big, not too expensive and with sufficient padding and noise isolation.

I need a recommendation on where and what should i get with say..
under $250.

I've looked at Audio-Technica.. anyone know if they have them in Singapore?

This is an ideal size for me

Didnt want to create a new thread but anyone know where I can find a whole line of Sennheiser and AKG Headphones.
Thx

.

man you should check out the audio technica ath-m40fs. industry standard headphone. it cost 130 to 140 depending on the store.

i highly recommend "Grado SR80"

it cost $170 in Adelphi #02-27, Shop name: Music by design

I have read the reviews and was impressed. After i bought it I have not regreted 4 a second. Its marvelous indeed!

what do you want to use them for? listening to music (coloured audio) or monitoring/reference-quality audio? there are some pretty good headphones for either purpose in your price range.

For on the go use i kinda like in ears. After you get used to them, they are comfortable, and offer isolation and clarity like nothing else. And they don't attract attention like bigger headphones. I use the shure e4c myself, and have come to appreciate the qualities of in ears.

What is the reason why you're leaving your mylarones?

you can find shure, audio technica and sennheiser hung brothers at sim lim. There's this other shop that shure headphones slightly cheaper than hung brothers though. Forgot the shop name.

Grados are open backed headphones. Everyone can hear what you're hearing and isn't meant for on the go listening. You might like to look for the sony mdr v6 or the newer 7506.

audio technica ath-ck32 is good enough for MP3. It cost around 30+
