is there anything like a mini amp or smth that u juz plug ur bass to it n connect a headphones to it n u can play ur bass?smth like connect ur bass to a amp n connect a head phones to it , but is there anything smaller?

of course, VOX's Amplug BASS would help. it's basically an amp which wouldn't work unless you plug in your headphones in there.

i know what you mean:

visit City Music where these are sold. ask the good sales people to plug one into the basses which feature the recessed-in-body location type as pic above. you'd convince yourself better this way.

in fact, bring your ibanez to the shop and try for yourself.

for me, i use tascam bass trainer. it's a huge mp3 player which accepts lead-in from bass. you connect your headphones to the bass trainer to listen to your bass playing + the mp3 you want to train on.

being a bass trainer, it has much more features. like key up/down tuning, tempo change, bass boost/cut etc. i like the cut, which allows me to play along on virtually any mp3 with bass 'almost' removed and you practise on it.

Hey... I'm using BOSS TU-88 as a practice headphone amp/tuner/metronome...

I think it's double the price of VOX amplug though... but it's still pretty handy.. and runs on one 9V battery too.. :)
I personally recommend this one. Cheerz! :D

i just got myself a korg pandora px4d.

the pandora is essentially a headphone amp / fx processor / amp sim / drum machine / recorder. it's what marloweDK uses to record the audio on his vids

there's the px5d, which has far better features and can also be used as a USB recording interface.

but i got the older px4d for really cheap. you could too with a little luck if you shopped at rakuten global.
