Has anyone tried the Casio Celviano AP-33 before?

Before you start condemming, I suggest that you give it a try first. There's a display set at Carrefour@Suntec.

The feel of the keys felt quite OK, and the sound wasn't too bad either. I personally feel that the look and feel of the entire digital piano was pretty good. Any gurus would like to make any comments on it?

The sound samples can be found here http://www.casio-europe.com/euro/emi/ap33/ (right hand side of the page)

I was trying those casio keyboards especially the electronic pianos there last week.

I'm not sure which model you're referring to. Are you referring to the electronic pianos?

If you are , I can say that it is kinda decent for it's price range in terms of sound quality and specifications. What I detest about the keys is that you can easily see fingerprint marks left behind by other players who tried them before. I'm not sure what kind of material they use for their keys , but I think they have to do something about the materials used for the keys. It is almost as if these keys were made of plastic!!!!

Oh by the way , I just came back from Suntec again....

Sorry for the late reply, yup, I'm referring to the digital piano.

And I guess the fingerprints were unavoidable...since wiping the keys are not part of the Carrefour employees' job scope

As to whether the keys are plastic or not...I guess the answer is yes here. I doubt Casio would bother to use ivory keys for their digital pianos!

All digital piano keys will have to be made of some sorta plastic. Anyway, its lightweight and allows for easy cleaning :)
