Has anyone tried Kinmans?

Hi.....

thinking of upgrading my vintage noiseless pickups on my strat to kinmans, has anyone had experience with these? Any feedback would be gladly appreciated! I was looking more at the Blues set which i though would be a good match for my ash bodied strat since the BLues set is supposed to be darker than the traditional and woodstocks.

Kinmans are one of the best pickups you can get. The Blues set nails the SRV tone, and is more aggressive sounding than the Traditional set. It would be interesting to hear it with an ash body.

Personally. I've set up 2 of my guitars with the Graduated set (Traditional neck + Blues middle & bridge).

The combination is pretty versatile especially if you're looking more different tones.

On hindsight, fitting my guitars with the AvN Blues Set would suit my playing style a lot better.
