NOODLE!!, HOW IS IT!! how much did u pay for it
?!!? ?OMG.. REPLY!!!

got it from mail order....USD$200.

this guitar got lots of things to be improved on.

for eg: the nut is too high.... the intonation is very bad...setup can take a long time due to this and tje buzz is bad too... i gave it lots of relieve and the string height i set very high...the buzz still got abit when played moderately.... ghe rust on teh hardware are real!! so the rust will grow as it ages....i advise to change all teha hardware if you really want to keep this guitar. and i've also tried those at swee lee...they are the same... most of the stock i tried at swee lee are worse..teh neck twisted...the body not responsive... the quality differs greatly for identical models.... so choose carefully...

wow.. that IS bad...i dont know what to think now.. jeez...sounds like u really regret buying it..

made in indo i think. about $400 at swee lee right?

btw, mark also has a new band?news to me :D ...n travis is having sex n making babies everyday...

the rust is real, that means i would have to cahnge the stupid Bridge and that other Piece... wtf man.....

wait, what else is Rusty on the guitar?? the frets?? Tuning pegs??

OBEY Squiers- some stuff to note...

if you are interested in this series of offerings, do note that they are a derivative of the Custom Shop Limited Edition (Relic) models, conceived by the company with artist Shepard Fairey.

the Relic models incorporate features which are aged & worn, these are intended appointments & are not the result of neglect & bad QC. these features are adopted in the Squier version, if you wish to acquire one with immaculate hardware, there are other models to choose from.

unlike the Custom Shop units which feature a real graphic finish on the body, the Squier version is actually a photo top which explains why they retain the budget price tag. with all due respect, this, along with the relic hardware are commercial enticements, they do not contribute to tone...

the real deal (do you have $5K to spare?)

ouhh, yea i;ve seen that Strat, but HOLY CRAP, its 5K really nice though, and No, i dont think i'll go on with the Telecaster after what Noodle wrote....

They might have actually used 2nd hand parts into ur guitar and say that its Rusted...

the rusty parts on the guitar are the bridge, control plate, the neck joint plate, the tuning machines, the string trees...... its real rust. everytine my hand will get in touch with the neck joint plate when i play the higher frets and the rusty will just dirty my hand.

i guess its a plan to clear those rusty bridges which are unfinished in their factories.... they dun need to buy sencond parts from other ppl, but just use those rusty parts which are unfinished..... its just my guess anyway.

what a Frekain Rip off.... The tuning HEads are rusty?? heck even the neck joint plate is....

squire just went down in my rankings....

well...squier has lots of models to choose from...its just that this particular obey series got the rusty factor to it and i can live with it.. really dig the graphic on the guitar so gotta upgrade the hardware or live with the rust. anyway, i've already changed the strings trees to fender's ($30 for 2...freakin rip off) and the next thing to change is the tuning machines, looking at gotoh tuning machines now...

one more time- the rust is definitely real, it's suppossed to be there... it's part of the Relic feature by Fender.

if you can't accept that the Relic offerings actually feature rusty parts, dented body, worn, flaking fretboard, etc., then you just don't get it.... no offence.

nah, its ok, i just thought they were suppose to LOOK liek rust but not actually BE rust...

anyawys ythe Tuning heads and alil other stuff look Fine on the Pictures... just not what i expected thast all..
