has anyone attempted jerryc's canon rock?

i know the song has been discussed many times, but can anyone here play or has atleast attempted it?
maybe you can post it here if u've recorded u'r playing.
i'm currently learning to play it. i've got up to the 1.30 min point.
it gets harder and harder with sweep picking.
ermm, if possible, can someone give me some tips or sumthing.
heres another video of canon rock, but played by funtwo. his playing is better imo.

i tink jerryc's playing is much better. and his tone is freaking nice.

anyway back to the topic. i attempted to learn it. gave up half way coz im nt up to that lvl of playing yet. managed to get to 2.30min(original vid) only minus the 5 string sweeping part.
