Once in a while a new name comes along in the world of drummers. Usually it doesn't mean that much. Then you keep hearing the name. And perhaps one day you have the opportunity to see that drummer in concert or at a clinic and then you get what all the fuss is about. Let me introduce you to Hannah Ford. Before this show I had never even heard of Hannah. I saw the promo pic on Rob's site and I had that felling, you know - that something was up. A young drummer - a girl no less - performing a clinic at a vintage show? Yeah, something was up. Hannah, who celebrated her prom the night before - gave an absolutely flawless performance in front a what I would call a very open-minded but tough audience. With shades of Cindy Blackman coming through loud and clear she never faltered once - she was all business, and apparently, business is dam good.
Little Miss, Little Miss, Little Miss Confidence! I couldn't help but feel a little proud of her.

I think we'll all keep hearing her name.

It's a drum show. They have a couple of those around the year in the States.

Singaporeans only interested in IT, so we have 2-3 IT shows every year.

Well...

Singapore's population? 4 million.
America's population? 300 million.

I think no female drummer want to be your Instructor lah (unless she is your GF - but then again she will kick you in a matter of time.)- especially the "Private Drum Instructor" thing...wah you really take away all her privates lah....Kekekeke

Reality Check Call!

Let's call it what it is. I checked out her site and tunes. TOO much hype on this little gal. I often wonder if people are stoned,when they post about a NEW drummer. This teen has a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG way to be ranked with the top female drummers!!!!!! Not impressed at all. Karen Carpenter was an ace female drummer!
