Just discovered them when I was listening to the song, Maneater..the chorus was familiar to me esp, the oh oh here she comes part..I remember hearing the chorus back when I was younger but had no idea who the group was..then discovered more songs by them, private eyes (been listening to this one for umpteen times now haha..I love this song), out of touch (catchy chorus with all the 80s synth trademark sound) plus many others..

John Oates sure resembles Santana hahaha : P anyone is a fan of this duo?

they were the famous duo back in the 80s with a string of Top10 hits.
check out 'Rock and soul greatest hits'.


they wrote Paul young's 'everytime you go away' hit.

Daryl Hall later went on to have a solo career with a hit 'Dreamtime'.

Oh yes, I only heard the Paul Young`s version back in the 80s..I listened to the original version and I must say it sounds so rnb/soul like haha...I never heard of Hall/Oates until last week when I heard the private eyes song..haha..I thought I`ve known every great 80s pop bands in my mind..cant beleive I havent heard of them..their songs are so awesome and brings back the childhood memories haha esp the out of touch song..definite 80s sound..
