i used to listen to boybands. so much that i bought a westlife and blue cd and a bsb music video vcd.
my kuzz saved me. let me listened to system, and my music preference changed.
thinking back, why the heck did i listen to boybands last time.
now, maybe pop music is making a comeback.

Hip hop.. Well.. I'm definately not a fan of it. Haha. Pop is pretty okay I think. I mean these boybands do have some heart-breaking-sappy-love-songs that make girls go gaga don't they? Haha.. I bet everyone has a soft spot for really nice love songs I just dug out my CD collection of these boybands! I used to be such a BSB fan man! Lol. Like I have quite a few of their albums. Some of Westlife too =p But actually TOURING sg.. That's just weird. They would qualify more for Backstreet Men or Backstreet Old Men, don't they? =p

yea, i think so, haha...but i dun really listen to the radio/watch tv, but i get an idea of wat the radio is playing through the ppl around me. Like they suddenly go crazy over pop punk, and then suddenly all rapping those hip hop "tunes"(dunno how to call it)...etc.

Sometimes, it's really refreshing to just listen to the easy tunes of pop after indulging in the heavy riffs and drums and all. Well I know some people who're in metal bands but are suckers for love songs. (;

And I so totally melt when I hear love songs too. My confession. Haha. They sound sooo sweeet lah. And somehow, it does take skills to write such songs too, no matter how you refuse to believe it. Even techno musicians have a tough time finding tunes for their songs to make it sound catchier. (But I'll never like techno.) It all boils down to taste. But no matter what, I still think each genre of music deserves some credit in the music scene.
