Why dont we get the cd's with guitar world?

It's really annoying becuase this issue has dimebag videos and things and i was really looking forward to it but for some reason i cant find any sellers who have the cd with the mag :S

What I was told at HMV, where I used to buy the odd music technology mag until they started removing the discs completely devaluing the mag, was that because the discs now contain video they have to be passed by the censor. Too expensive for a few magazines therefore the discs have to be removed and destroyed.

Blame the government.....

Again, I'm only the messenger but I was told that if they can sell enough of them to justify the cost of passing the censor they will, maybe thats what happened with Kerrang?

A cd gets released with a 3 minute 'bonus' video it still has to pass the censors no?

Look for those imported. They normally cost at least 30% more.

Or you can always switch to Guitarist. I get GAS reading the reviews so it might not be healthy on a long term basis. :smt003

suscribe. my dad got me a 1 year suscription, i get the cd with every issue.
it kicks ass.

Guitarist the best for me so far. CDs lessons reviews whole lotta stuff but it ain cheap.

dont like guitar techniques, dont want any other mags. i like guitar world, i find it itneresting and has good articles and is affordable and i just want my cd >.<

Hmm.

haha.. I personally buy guitar world or their acoustic guitar mags only.. I agree with you that their interviews, lessons, articles are very good, but bear in mind that hey... if you have itunes, or maybe if you make a sound investment in a bunch of CDs which feature that monthly artiste I'm sure you can listen to the original version.. which is the best way to know your music.

and when you listen and read the tabs at the same time.. nothing beats that feeling of 'oh man.. wow! now I feel confident to try this song out!'.. and you'd have the best of both worlds by having the mag, and a good investment in the CDs.
