HAHAH. That's true. But it also makes the back of the neck very sticky (for me after around an hour plus to two of playing). Gross. So i guess it calls for more maintenance.

I have the sweaty palms.
As for the following concerns from TS. . .
1)sweaty palms make ur fingers soggy and skin on ur finger tips tends to wear out when doing more technical stuff.
Finger wear out no problem. Just continue playing then you'll probably make the "emotion" facial expression when you bend like SRV
2)Strings rust like god knows wad!! need to change them almost weekly
Always wipe the strings after use. Sometimes i dab a bit of WD40 to coat the strings. Fingers glide and helps remove/prevent rust.
3)Is disgusting
Suck it up. Too bad for us.
4)Is gross
The only thing you'll ever feel comfortable touching & feeling and never complain is your Guitar.
5)Pick slips from fingers
Double sided tape extras to your headstock and look & feel damn pro.
6)Don't dare to try other people guitar
This one must bo chup lah. Especially at Guitar shops need to get used to being "not shy"
Anyway there is a probable solution to GSPS (Guitarist Sweaty Palms Syndrome) but I have not tried it before on hands. Scholl has some foot spray which is an antiperspirant. It worked damn well on my feet, no sweat at all. Maybe you should try it on your hands. I'm quite sure that would work.

I agree with that, I also have sweaty plam but the sweat make the slides of barred chord easier and less friction.

I have that prob too! I'm forced to use coated strings. They cost afew bucks more, but definitely worth it as compared to wasting time changing your strings almost once a week.
I have too. But i do what i need not to destroy people's guitar by wiping my hand before playing and sometimes during playing. As it gets sweaty, i'll just wipe. For myself, i got myself Elixir strings. Sound good to me, it doesn't rust easily. Its a good investment though
