Guitar Workshop

I've seen an incredibly horrendous setup done on an Ibanez Edge Pro equipped RG. Horrendous.

So I guess if your guitar doesn't use a FR its safe. ;)

Oops.
I love it when I just blaze thru forum topics while running thru 2 forums, and flipping thru work while at work.

But well, to your "are they reliable", i think I've answered that part... if you have a floyd rose equipped guitar. Or maybe if you were to buy a FR equipped guitar from them.

huh? I don't think you are replying to the right topic.

I'm asking whether is the shop is good or not. :D

He's telling you the standard of their work on FRs

good in what sense?

Well reliability has been an issue for some. The cost for their repainting work isn't cheap as well. You buying from there?

I was thinking of buying from there. Because my friend told me that sweelee has stock with lousy quality. :?

I don't really trust them because when I tried some guitar there they told me it has a set-neck. But when i got home and did some research, it actually has a bolt-on.

Ah ic.. In that case do stay around here and we'll help you out.

Tel us what you like in a guitar... Maybe you dont have to go to shops so soon yet till u have a rough idea.

Which guitar did you try anyways in which there was a difference between what u researched and was told?

Hmm.

If you're talking about the guitars, they recently did a price review, and they always set up the instruments before they are hung up for sale.

So you can go over there, try out the instruments and see for yourself what is the quality of their 'set-up' is like nowadays.

I know the ppl over there quite well and I'd say that they are reasonable people lah. Just go over and try and see. if not happy you have no obligation to buy.

hope this helps.

Thats a very funny statement from your friend.

I guess if your friend has been looking at Ibanez Gio or Epiphones or Squires, and he's used to playing higher end guitars, well, yes, those stock guitars might not be up to par, usually they are not.

Swee Lee brings in guitars, and sells them. They cater to people who have the dough and those who have the dough. So really.

Stock with lousy quality?

Its like walking into a handphone shop and taking a top of the line 3G smart phone on one hand, and a monochrome budget phone, then commenting "this shop stocks lousy quality phones".

if u dont kno wat set n bolt on necks mean u can ask the guy to explain?
stuff u see on the internet isnt 100$ reliable either..

bin, i think between a set neck and a bolt on neck, the internet would be pretty reliable.

If its conspircy theories, thats another matter.

I tried an epi G-310. I'm still playing around with different guitars though, trying to find the right one.
