Im planning to send my guitar for a general setup, checking of wiring and change of switch. Does anybody know if i have to leave my guitar overnight or can it be done on the spot at SV?

Bro.. We live in the east what.. Beez is much much nearer compared to SV at Woodlands!

Straight buses from the east 161 and 168 straight to Woodlands interchange, then take 913.

I really applaud SV and I'd go there for technical guitar stuff, repairs, refretting and the like, because of the very reasonable charges and amazing gear they have there.

i've just purchased my first floyd rose-equipped guitar and am looking to get it set up. mike from sv and malcolm the luthier seem to have raving reviews, but are they both experienced with floyd rose-equipped guitars? i don't know enough about floyd rose systems to know if someone's going to mess it up completely

Of the two, i wld pick Malcolm(no offence to Mike), he's been around a lot longer than Mike BUT his prices are on the steep side. I wld recommend u go to Mike. If u live in the east, Beez at Roxy Square is another man renowned for his setups and repairs. Not saying one is better than the other, it all boils down to location and preferences.

Finally the north part of Singapore has a guitar shop that does set up and repair work!!

No longer need to go all the way down to city hall.hurhur

Just sent my guitars there to get it set up and Mike definitely takes the time to explain what he did to the guitar and did a good job.

My permanent go to shop for my guitar dilemma.
