Guitar Recommendation

Hi all,

I'm looking for a decent 24-fret electric guitar with whammy.. Budget about 1-1.5k.. Currently into metal and j-rock.. Anyone with good recommendations? I dont really fancy les paul kind of necks and hope to get something which looks pretty wicked as well, for visual effect on stage.. haha. hope to get some replies soon!

I really like this one. Neck thru, EMGs, Grover tuners, white binding on the neck and headstock with a sweet ebony fretboard. Like this one better than the Hammett model, even though i like Kirk Hammett more hah. I would like to haz one for myself!

RG1570 and RG1550 should be around 1.5k range. Swee Lee Ibanez prices are good except for JEMs.

I'm pretty interested in the B.C Rich range. Anyone has any experiences with their guitars? How are the pickups? Also, what's the price range like? Please advise.

My alternative will be Ibanez Xiphos.. the single neck of course. but that'll probably be much pricier than the B.C Rich ones..

RG1570 and RG1550 should be around 1.5k range.

at the current price range, it's $1.7k +/- after the usual discts...

You can get a Yamaha RGX series or one of those LTD guitar that fits your description with that budget. The LTD Horizon looks good ^^.

i swear by PRS haha, you could prolly get an SE and mod the pickups to hotter ones if you're not happy with the sound!
