was rummaging thru my store room and found my old LTD F-10 and thought of making a project guitar...

hmm...

wat pickups do you guys recommend?

i'm looking at the x2n and tonezone for bridge...probably not using the neck pickup

i mostly play slayer, epica-styled songs...trying syu-styled playing really soon once i get myself a crybaby

I just like chugginess, and some brightness...i gez can say i'd like a pickup that would change from evil muddiness to heavenly clarity

would an active pickup do me some good?(I find them a tad sensitive most of the times)

I play through a AX3000G with headphones...

Hows the sound of the tonezone anywaes?

no point la ripper. the f10, if i remember correctly, is humbucker bridge and single coil neck.
or actually, a single coil sized humbucker at neck.
