i lose picks as much as you do...so i came up with this solution..
i bought a pick holder at davis and stuck it to the back of my guitar headstock. i then put around 7 picks in there so just in case i would lose one i can just fish out one from there.
i have at least 3 soft picks and 3 hard picks in my wallet just in case i need to try out some axes at a shop or when i go to my relative's house (which will at least a stringed instrument there.....excluding gu zheng). my wallets actually a life saver when i go jamming with my band, i will at least have a pick missing from the pick holder.

and several other chui misplaced picks under my bed, computer and my sister's piano.

but i also face this similar problem. but apparently i put in pick case where there's like little slots for u to put in and can hold up to 50 or more. but anyway. yea my case is that i every time take 1 pick each time i play and usually. after i play i put on my table the next day its gone. -_- maybe my bro took it but. WTH! then i really lose alot of money by restocking pick every month. -_-

they are great, and the best part is..
they are sooo expensive, so you wont wanna misplace them.
also the thought of having to wait for them to arrive in mail again would further encourage you to have a good habit of keeping your picks, til now, ive probably lost all my dunlop picks, but never misplaced my V picks haha
