hi guys... dunno where else to post this but i wanna ask.

Which should i buy a zoom g2.u1 or a korg ax 3000g...read that both are quite good but wanna noe which is more worth it to buy...Really would appreciate it if you guys post your comments coz i wanna buy a multi efx pedal urgently.Thx guys

all i can say is korg outperforms the zoon g2.1u
seriously
i tried it and its good
but xpensive
and zoom is value fer money
but in the end,u shud try it out and make the verdict
good luck

Err...

1) More sounds for you to play with
2) Has a loop input ie you can add single pedals to your multifx if there is an effects pedal that you like that gives you the tone that your multi can't
3) Has MIDI In and Out so you can control other hardwares or softwares
4) Comes with a software that lets you set your tone using your computer if you find the knobs on the pedal intimidating.
5) Looks better.

G2.1U is good enough. I have it and it sounds good. But in the end, you are the one buying so you should try it :)

was thinking of getting a 2nd hand pedal. but i still cant decide between those 2...comments have been rather useful, right nw considering korg but its a tough choice

btw is a korg ax 3000g with hardcase for $250 worth it?

got any flaws?
loose knobs,paint chips ect
iff working condition 10/10
den its a bloody steal
with hardcase summore
rrp $350
but then got the papers, adaptor, warranty ect ect
all these got come into consideration lar

From what I've gather online and though my friend's personal experience, it is common for the Korg AX3000G to start getting faulty after 2 to 3 years of normal usage. The problem comes with the knob alignment, eg when turning the knobs to select an amp type etc, it may be pointing to brit but the pedal is still on ac30 (something beside or 2 options away). And when u turn the knob more past brit, the pedal might skip the whole thing and move on to the next amp model.

The Korg sounds good though but warranty on the Korg would definitely be better.

This is not a problem, but rather a case of being unfamiliar with the equipment.

I am using one, and it is fantastic if you are still unsure of your sound identity.

When switching from programme to manual setting, the efx, modulation etc selection of the programme would be indicated regardless of where the knobs are.

You just have to turn the knobs away and back if it is already on the selection you want.

Anyway, multi efx like korg etc are really a cheaper alternative to pedals.

Go for pedals when you already know your 'voice'.

Oh okay, are you saying people will get more and more unfamiliar with the KorgAX3000G as they use it? To the point that they have no idea how the thing works after 3 years? Wait ah, that kinda makes sense yeah...

hmm thx for the comment. So is it advisable for me to buy the 1 yr old korg? And then next time buy better pedals when i found what i was looking for?
