Greetings,
I am a Diploma Holder in Contemporary Music and have been teaching Guitar (Electric & Acoustic) and Popular Music Theory for coming to 4 Years and been gigging actively for the past 3 years.
My Strength is to help one have a good foundation and to develop further on it.
I will be opening additional slots for more classes.
My syllabus outline concludes mainly on:
(Guitar - Electric & Acoustic may vary) based on Pop/Rock/Blues Playing
- Chords
- Strumming Patterns
- Traids & Arpeggios
- Modal Scales
- Improvisation (Soloing)
- Transcription
- Rhythmic Patterns for Skanking/Rhythmic Playing
(Contemporary Music Theory) based on Pop/Rock/Blues/Jazz Harmony
- Harmonic Progression And Analysis
- Fundamentals of knowing Music Theory from a Contemporary Prospective point of view
- Sight Reading
- Blues Progression
Materials (lead sheets, music paper) and handouts will all be provided, all that is required is your instrument and stationeries.
Classes are held in groups and individually and are conducted at my home studio at Bedok Area.
Prices are as follows depending on level of individual:
Guitar - $30 - $40 per 45mins
Music Theory - $35 - $50 per 45mins
More time will be given to weaker students that require more teaching aid. I do put classes at least 1hr in between to help weaker students.
