Hey guys!
I've recently installed my new Gotoh 510 Delta tuners and Gotoh Licensed floyd rose... :D Now I just need to change my pickup selector, add a toggle switch, add the fender on load tone pot, add a push-push spring volume pot and swap the bridge breed for a tonezone... And refret it of course... 8)

Check out the pics!

Just halfway thru!

The wonderful Gotoh Licensed Floyd...

Gotoh 510 Delta tuners... 1:21 gear ratio...

And here is the HORRID problem!

Tremblocktoolong.jpg

The new gotoh trem block is too think for the S series body!!!
Getting a custom tremolo cavity cover done now... so yeah, there'll be a bump on the back, but its NOT that bad... I guess...

The Gotoh Floyd beats the original Ibanez Edge in sustain (prob due to the oversized trem block), richer harmonics and a kind of mellower but not dull tone... However, it isn't as smooth as the Edge, due to its top being the Original Floyd design... less mass on top than the Edge...

The Delta tuners... well, tuning out is really much easier and smoother... no need to try to turn 1/32th of a turn to get to that desired pitch... but well, this upgrade was more of a want than a need coz I'm using a floyd... hahaha...

Will update when the whole package is DONE! :p

Cheerio!

Looks good man.

How much did it cost you? I might want the trem in place of my Edge Pro...

That whole thing cost me ard $380...

And, you can't swap a normal Floyd with the Ibanez Edge Pro... its Ibanez's own design, its not using ANY patents of the OFR so, if you swap, your intonation will be way off... and the saddles will not be able to compensate for it. Go check www.jemsite.com or www.ibanezrules.com ... you cannot retrofit an OFR, original Edge/Lo-Pro or Licensed Floyd in your Edge Pro route... unless you reroute the cavity which would leave a gaping hole in your guitar.

Sorry man...
