I'm a struggling bassist who cnt play for shit.. i wanna learn more things bout guitar like solo-ing, improvising, different chords arpeggios to improve my guitar playing and bass playing.

Any books, cds, dvds or any other instructional guide for reccomendations?

go swee lee and see. got array of boox for u yamaha also got or if u lucky enuff popular stocked one of it's For Dummies books for bass playing, or u can order online. i forgot the webby... ack!

It's great that you want to further your bass playing by augmenting it with some guitar playing knowledge, but be careful of the knowledge you gain, as bass playing and guitar playing are two different stories altogether.

It's still important that as a bassist, you learn when NOT to play. Just be careful not to fight with the vocal melody or guitar solos, and you'll do great!
