Have you played a strat or LP before?
As in regularly?

Which do you find more comfortable?
LP scale or Strat scale?

How about the fingerboard radius?

Which do you find easier to chord? Especially jazz chords.

Maybe without limiting yourself to either a strat or LP, you can consider a hardtail version of the jaguar.

The jap HH jag does come with a stoptail bridge.
That may suit you better than an LP or strat.

Just another option that you can take.
