Guitar FMLs!

Ok, today's probably one of my worst days ever.
So the first thing i thought was FML, and it'll be interesting to start a thread here and every can post their FMLs while doing stuff related to the guitar.

my story's kinda long, but I'll start the ball rolling~

First, I was walking around penin to find the right colour for my selector switch for my strat. So I found out that Guitar Connection sells the cream one I wanted and it fits for MIA strats. and it was $4 WTH! So I just grabbed my wallet out and paid the guy. Me and my friend walked to swee lee, and then I realised I LOST THE STUPID SWITCH! Omg I was swearing and whining to my friend like mad. So we walked back and I bought another one.
$8 for a stupid switch + A wasted trip to swee lee! FML!

So in the evening today, I wanted to shift my bed to another side to make my room more spacious, So I removed my pedals and stuff ( My power adaptor was still connected to the multi plug ) and then put it at the other side of the room, and I connected the vacuum cleaner to vacuum the dust under bed. Suddenly, boom. SHORT CIRCUIT! The multi plug dropped from my chair, with my power adaptor and vacuum cleaner plugged to it. Well I got a real scolding from my mom after that. Then just now, I wanted to practice, so I connected everything and tried to play, but there was no sound at all.
Then I checked like mad, and realised that my power adaptor is spoilt. And I only hae 8 bucks in my wallet now.

If my chaisy chains are spoilt also,
I wasted $63 bucks for nothing today. FML!

here's mine.

i bought a godlyke adaptor from Music Theme.got home kinda late, but i started cleaning my guitars and rearranging my pedalboard till it was around 3am.so i opened the package containing the adaptor, excited to plug it into my daisy chain.when i tried to plug it in,somehow it wont fit.i was already like ZOMGWTFFADSASD!@#@% at 3am,so decided to return it to the shop the next day, demanding an explanation of why it didnt fit.

took me 2 hours from my house to reach city hall.when i got to the shop, turns out it fits(as most standard 9v adaptors do).Turns out that i was soo sleepy at 3am,i actually tried to plug it into the 9v jack on the daisy chain instead of the appropriate connector.zzz

FML.

Shredcow knows this one...

I spent a whole afternoon at GC looking for a nice harmoniser/octave pedal. I kept going on and on and on about how bad everything sounded... I kept shaking my head and muttering to myself about the thin sounds I was getting. Totally unnatural. Complaining about why there wasn't a devent octave/harmoniser pedal that sounded good. I even tried the EHX Guitar Synth. yuck... weak and puny sounding...

I went home, and began complaining about my experience to Shreddy... he then asked me: did you use the pedal before or after the gain stage?

It then hit me... I put everything BEFORE... *slaps head!*

a pretty girl told me she thinks i'm cool cos i look like joe jonas of the the jonas brothers when she saw me playing.

I had the pickups in my flying-v changed to EMG, but when i brought it home i realised the 85 was in the bridge and the 81 in the neck! so instead of going back i decided to change it myself because EMG's are unplug able. but because the its a flying v i have to unscrew the pickguard. in doing so i had to remove the tune-o-matic bridge, after i wanted to put it back on i couldn't because it was too rusty, so i went to peninsula to look for a replacement bridge. i took a cab because i wanted to do this quick so i had extra charges for ERP. after i got the new bridge it was 25 bucks, i went home with a cab it had rush hour and ERP charge and the cab started at 7 bucks. I spent fifty bucks on cabs alone in one day going back in forth

dudelove i can relate to you.

friend : eh James, if you leave your hair longer you'll look like Nick Jonas!

she goes on to tell me that whenever she sees nick jonas she thinks of me. wow.

no i do not sound nasal when i sing, nor do i sound like a dying and constipated duck.
