GT-8 OWNERS THREAD.TIPS AND TRICKS!!

heh guys,

i have a gt-8 but i haven problems.I sucks at setting guitar tones and effects.so i wish to ask those who have experience the gt-8.

SOLO.If i want to have a solo patch.must my preamp/speaker be a dirty amp/overdriven amp + a overdrive??or i can i just straight use a match lead from there?

pod xt is different from gt8.

yes both do effects,pre amps and stuff. different brand too.

You really should read up more and try out more rather than talk then. You asked - "Is this like [something I don't know too much either]?" How do you expect anyone to answer that?

Also, what are the chances of , Line 6 PodXT Live to be the same thing as a Boss GT8? They're 2 distinctly different brands and model names.

Why don't you just find out where these things are sold at and try out/ ask the salesman to show you a demo of the item.

Or just google both items.

I'm just amazed that you can be so "confused". Try reading up the Guitar Sticky thread and going out more often to guitar shops. Seriously.

You should re-read my posts then. They're meant to help, not to diss.

It's not about guitars or pedals or amps or whatever item. Go insert "cooking", "swimming" or "flying". Go insert char kway teow or chicken rice to replace GT8 and PodXT. Is char kway teow like chicken rice? Yea, sure, they're food. Are they not? Sure, you use different ingredients. So what if you don't know? Try inserting "AMD" or "Intel". Same? Like? Different? I don't read up putting on make-up eithher. I can honestly say I do not know a thing about make-up. So?

Are we jerks? Maybe. I've given you advice to look it up or to test it out yourself. Is that help? You can decide for yourself. If you don't find that advice helpful, don't do it.

Do note that most forum posts never tend to sound pleasant or polite unless you put in the or :lol:. If you need that, I can put in a ton of those. What's the point? I just pointed out that it seems really weird that you can take two different things and ask a question that doesn't really make sense.
