Graphite, Epoxy, Ebanol, Aluminium, Phenolic (materials)

Has anyone tried any of those guitar with non-wood materials as the neck and fingerboard?

from what i know, they do use aluminium on fretless guitars.. u can check out vigier guitars, the do have a few fretless models with aluminium or stainless steel fretboards...

they only have one model and its called the surfretter. phenolic fingerboards can be found on steinberger guitars. and also on the cort curbow basses.

The Graphite necks are nice but ones damaged difficult to repair.
