going to japan in october

Jeremy,

I've found that the Ishibashi outlet at Shinjiku is easy to find. Just take the subway to Shinjiku 3-chome station and the outlet is a 5 minute walk away.

The outlet at Shimbashi is a little more difficult to find.

Rest assured that the place is packed with stuff to try :-)

wad im worried abt is dat can't try, haha, anw i'll juz try out stuff that they don't have in singapore, haha, anw juz wanted to take a peek at what the 'guitar scene' is like in japan, considering its the the home of my fav guitar brands, IBANEZ and to a lesser extent YAMAHA

You can definitely try out. when i was there, there must have been 5 different guys trying out all kinds of things. yes - despite the steep prices it's well worth checking out.

I second that, I was there last month. Four floors of music gear from memory. There are also a couple of other guitar shops in the Shinjiku area.
