Have you guys heard about the Hungarian song titled 'Gloomy Sunday'?

People claim that the English version of the song pales in comparison to the original Hungarian one.
Personally, I do not find it that depressing. But I guess those people who committed suicide after hearing it did.
The redoubtable influence of music is simply mind-boggling.

I think they were already like down in the dumps before hearing the song. It's like a bicycle on a hill, the song's the little push, and that is all that's needed to see the bike flying down.

the recent Venetian Snares version of "Gloomy Sunday" is pretty awesome. maintains the Hungarian orchestral feel with an electronic bite. he titled his version "Öngyilkos Vasárnap" after the original Hungarian name
