I'm learning classical, been learning for about a year now.

But I'm losing interest and I can't see myself playing like a pro.

next step to get you an electric? if your parents don't allow you to get an electric because of studies, you should convince them that you can juggle both studies and guitar. i did the dumb thing and rebelled and getting shitty grades, which didn't really help the situation.

classical is the thing! short fingers have nothing to do with playing abilities. look at malmsteen, short and fat fingers. and the girl at the vid, the guitar looks HUGE on her! and the Jem.. ahhh...
