Hey Cliffnewsted, U can't compare this gig to others.

For the value of $5 or less, u can only have it in a small & cramp jamming studio!

So if u still insist of $5 ticket for a gig, well, u might as well perform in a jamming studio all your life.

Let's not put such a low value on our local acts ok.

ok i agree. but do we really need to sell 20-30 tix? how bout juz 10? 10 tix per band, 10 bands = 100 people. dat's more than enough isn't it?

Bands need not to sell tickets for these events.

They only need to try their very best to bring down as many frens so as to make the gig more happening.

I'm looking forward to these mix genres gigs and see how the audience acknowledge other types of music.

Let's open up to other genres and learn to appreciate their music ok.

U dun have to sell any tickets lah... juz perform the gig... invite ur frens. dis is so dat wen its time for ur slot, ther will be many ppl cheering on ur band... :lol:

Just make sure bands bring down lots of their frens so that when it came to their turn, there will be a crowd supporting them.

ok.. haha, not dat i want to start trouble la.. but a fren of mine applied for this gig n he told me that he received an e-mail that said the bands HAVE to sell 20-30 tix that cost $10 bux each.

n so according to wat u said this is a free gig where the bands don't have to pay a single cent and the audience don't have to either??
