is there a thread (or site) somewhere that lists places musicisans can approach for gigs?

yup.... its really hard for the band to find events so that they can register 4 it ... maybe soft can help ... thnx

yar hard to find lobangs for new bands who wanna experience and exposure...

actually, what you can do is

1. write a very good Intro at the intro thread
2. put in your band's nicest photos
3. put in mp3 of your band's performance
4. better still, put in video of your band

this way, organisers will come to you!

if you are good, you might even convert some SOFTies to be your fan!
