Actually no maple. I wont pay top dollars for maple. But having a piezo on a two amp setup is really nice. Throw in some chorus and delay and watch them fly. 8)

Many manufacturers charge alot for maple, esp Gibson. I mean something relatively unfigured. Or they charge insane amount for a very nice quilt or maple which does not actually provide an edge to the tonal aspect at all.

If you want a the maple tone and don't really want to burn a big hole, get a Godin or Ibanez. Many of their sub 2k guitars have tops better than PRSi 10 top. Again just my opinion, so no offense to PRS owners.
