Getting a new guitar!

P/S: omg, ure actually from roadkill? I'd seen your hand of blood cover (at was it dxo?) more than once some time back and I have to say the screams good!

haha, yea i'm from Roadkill. I'm the guy who does the screamy bits. and thanks alot bro. appreciate the comments

thanks alot for the comments people, and hope you guys can keep it coming! i shall go down to penin one of these days to try out the different types and sounds of the guitars and hopefully find something i like! thanks very much again!

yeah get the ibanez guitars! they're great for beginners, but if you're not planning to get a better one next time, i suggest you save up, and get a better one!

ryanz its ok, no prob.. :)

squier is nice, fender is nce, ibanez is nice, gibson is nice,
some i know prefer to buy new ones, be it guitars or cars or boats...
i prefer to get a good used $500 guitar over a not so good brand new $500 guitar
just a personal preferance, not only can i save but but older guitars got that some kind of mojo

i just remembered, i bought a brand new bass from yamha a long time ago
the next day, i went to a cool guitar shop & saw a very old bass..
traded in my spanking new bass for that..
now then i realise the reason why..

some kind of voodoo.. :)

Other than swee lee are there any shops which sells second handed guitars? and any advices about practice amps, cos im totally clueless about amps!

maybe you can try opposite brasbasah sweelee for used guitars,
is it black wood guitar shop or something..? they do consignments too..?
if u like small & simple amp can try kustom range abt $90+ for dart10w & $100++ for the tube12w series

if you're into amp w/ built-in efx, maybe roland cube series?
but i dont have them, heard its sound quite good but the one i like is too costly for me.. hehe

hope it helps

the big kustom amps are nice too..
ive not much experience with amps, so dont laugh if my views a bit off ok..

i need to have that clean tone first + then a little tube crunch wannabe efx,
so far fender frontman 25r is my humble practice amp choice, just don't get carried away as it can really be loud for a 10".

from what i gather when i ask around, as for those younger & more energetic chaps who are more into heavy guitar distortion prefer marshalls

i like the retro design of vox10 pathfinders too, power it up lightly beside the ears during those quiet nights.. a 6" speaker to strum the blues away... hehe ;)

how much is the marshall going for, $150+?
some strat copies quite good, got my first guitar sx sunburst.. haha
solid body construction, only the neck dont feel that nice.. but quite ok la unless you're a pro guitarist
newer les paul copies, not as happening as the older 80's or 90's copies.. can feel the difference if you have tried them
