Anyone knows why fender still sticks to the square shaped bolt on neck? Can't they take any pointers from Ibanez curved shape?

so that they and the 3rd party can still sell neck plate  $$$$$ Go see ebay and search for "Fender neck plate" and see how happening it is :D

some design concepts are patented, we have to keep that in mind. if you think the squarish bolt-on body area design is obstructive, Fender does make a recessed treble-side version, for improved access to the upper registers (refer to pic below).

he he, i'm just subliminally telling you to buy it if you like it. remember, i ever subliminally induced you to get the Ibanez Artcore? 8)

Damn...
my heart beat goes as fast as when I'm seeing Jessica Parker's nude picture every time I see this guitar's picture

i respectfully understand that you are in love with this Robin guitar depicted below, both the Squier 51 & this Robin Ranger are akin to twins seperated at birth but i find the Robin more visually tasteful. IMO Robin got the pickguard design right from the start 8)

heh....

beggars can't be choosers!

know how much a robin costs? The Squire 51 is juuusssstt a fraction of the cost. 8)

lovely isn't it? and if you have some spare change in the future a simple upgrade of your favourite pickups will make this a keeper.

I like what subversion said of the neck profile. Makes me want to step into swee lee...

sighs.... such is the life of a rehab'ed GASSER...
