there was a time when i was really interessted in the Washburn NUNO models, but the neck joined the upper cutaway at the 14th/ 15th fret- made it rather restrictive...

Ibanez fans- get ready for the new Marty Friedman's signature series to debut by 2005's first quarter. the model which is based on the SZ series took a turn for the unexpected when MF appeared in a CRATE clinic playing a proto which looked like a single-cutaway version of the SZ. ardent fans would argue that the singlecut preference made perfect sense since MF played lots of Les Pauls after his departure from Jackson (most of Music for Speeding was done with LPs). either way, we'd be glad if it'd be reasonably priced...

The neck has got a radius yes? Are there any more detailed specs on it?

soffian can recommand any neck pickups for a legato player? I find that its very soft when i legato on the high E string...i don't really like getting the gain to full because of all the weird noises and hisses.

seriously, the ibanez SZ series have a more reliable neck piece.
i love every moment when playing it. and its even easier to shred with it.
heres one.

even the stock pick ups are quite okay.
thinking of changing them to EMG's
