Whats wrong with Yamaha guitars? They produce guitars that have a lot of consistency and quality for the price you pay. 500 dollar RGXs and pacificas have better fret jobs than some factory line Gibson Lespauls that cost 5 times as much.

Nothing is wrong with Yamaha. If you like it then use it. I just don't like it for undisclosed reasons.

the RGX-520/ 320 are IMO the better offerings by Yamaha- affordable yet uncompromising in overall quality, with reference to the asking price of course...

yup- they were sued. but they have no such products in the US anymore so their current wares are kinda safe...
