i bought it yesterday- still trying it...
Multi-FX: i get very few review invitations for these. it's also rather difficult to understand & operate immediately; i have limted patience with something i can't plug & play immediately... :roll:

oh i see... good to know there's a good review readership here.
the Rocktron units are varied in performance; some are superb while others could have been better. however, we have to thank ebenex for pricing them competitively because if we aren't quite satisfied with them, at least they didn't burn a deep hole in our shallow pockets 8)

well sub..i rely quite heavily on ur reviews on gear..
On other websites..its simply biased.they either hate it or love it.i mean..they compare it with other gears bla bla bla.or that is their first gear ever.and its hardly accurate.or objective rather.
for example..they really diss lower end guitars as they've played high end guitars and the compared the former to the latter, which is obvious which will be better..but thats not wad readers need..
readers wanna know how that guitar performs on its own..as in..how good it is per se..
and those qualities are found in your reviews.

the reason i bothered with the reviews @ SOFT is primarily because i want the players here to have a certain perspective of the product in domestic context. no use saying guitar X is superb through a Diezel amp when Diezel amps aren't available here for the masses to hear what they are all about.
in any reviews, there need to be objectivity & fair perspective. the reason why i stopped visiting harmony central's review database is largely because the perspectives there are rather one-dimensional, often in favour of non-eastern products. while we have Gibson Les Pauls to look up to, there are Tokai & Edwards to remind ourselves of what good guitar craftsmanship is all about.
i really wish i can stop doing everything else & do reviews full time *sigh*
