Gauge? setup?

hey guys,
i intend to set up my JEM JR with the following tunings,

6 B
5 F#
4 B
3 E
2 G#
1 C#

it's basically with like a drop D
with everything dropped one and a halfstep (3frets) on top of that.

any recommendations on what string gauges i should use?

For Dropped D tuning, i would suggest D'Addario light top heavy bottoms (10-52)

heavier gauge wud suits that low tuning! like gauge .11 or heavier!! Lol!
But please, u have to send ur guitar for setup. heavier gauge hv to readjust neck, intonation and height etc2.. and if possible, try to change to the brand and gauge strings, as the guitar has properly tuned to that tension fo strings!

That's like a Drop B tuning, I'm pretty sure .13s would work, you might have to make adjustments on your truss rod and re-intonate your guitar though.

if you were playing gauge 9 on standard tuning, I would recommend gauge 11. if you were playing 10s, 12s would be ideal. you have to send it to a shop to set it up cos your FR bridge would be out of place. also, do take note that once you've set up a FR guitar in a dropped tuning, tuning it back to standard would be a major headache.
