Alain: Cool axes and did you do the Van Helenish design or did it came with the guitar? If you did, how did you do it, thinking to try it out on my axe too... haha

Solid lah, alain.

great job on the van-halen design, i like the 2 little figures u added at the bottom. haha

newguy: he already said he cut the designs himself from car decals.

Thanks guys! I've always been more into guitars than amp/effects stuff. but i don't think i can own any more guitars! i've also got a zion acoustic too.

Hei alain.. Nice Hamer you got there.. Does your JEm leaves in-lays glows in the dark??

Nope, no glow in the dark! but there is glow in the dark paint.. but grey seems to be offering LED services soon :D

Nah, it came with a white finish. I used a car sticker to do it.

Outline the guitar onto the back of the sticker, draw out the design, taking into consideration the parts which get in the way like pickup, bridge, switch etc..

Cut the design out, prepare some soap water ( 2 or 3 drops of dishwashing liquid to a cup of water) and wet the guitar with the soap water. This allows you to move the sticker while its on the guitar. Once everythinig is in place, push the bubbles out with a ruler/credit card and let dry. Use a hairdryer if you're impatient.

enjoy the eye-candy! I'm really impressed by the Hamer's stock pickups more than anything. Dead spots in both the Hamer and Jemvbk though.

bin4christ teach me how you diid ur red pickups! i've used markers before but i never got it as smooth as yours! i want red pickups on the hamer! dunno if its possible on black pickups though...

Those 2 figures have sentimental value

Local brands maestro and the living strings acoustic guitars and sinamex's timothy's are really VFM man. never thought local guitars would be this solid. Previously owned gear can post here?? got some nice pics of my ex RG470 and BC rich KKV sig special

Something close to yours, only its a universe

Hey sorry but spoil market here... This is my simple Yamaha RGZ 121 Z in metalic red... Seen here resting on my couch.

Yeah Yeah I know... it's an exact copy of one of the Ibanez... save that it is a vintage. Still, the mechanics are of good quality, the switch is smooth and 'crisp', not like (IMHO) some ibanez which dun feel as smooth when flipping.

Alright... Back to your Ibanez / Fender / Gibson Craze!

The universe and the Yamaha look great IMO and they look very comfortable where they're lying/sitting, No spoil market la. No guitar is 'better' than another, its still basically wood, strings and pickups. Its all very subjective and what matters most is that you like what you've got.

Haha yeah good to hear... I was brought up on that if we have decided to buy something, it is our responsibility to find out how much it can do... And yeah I like what she (my guitar) can do for me.

Dunno about you guys but I think every guitar has got its own distinct feel... No two guitars the same

ahh ...seth lovers...
dude..your guitar is crying for gold covered humbuckers...

If anyone is into the very very good cleans and smooth dist tones... ( no metal )
i suggest lindy fralins... slapped on a set and...after playing intensively for a few days... i can say without bias its just frigging awesome pickups.

crozzfire: i got it really really cheap... too good to believe, almost

btw, it would help if u edit ur post to remove the picture link in my quote. it's a really big pic so it clogs up the forum a little when u repost in the quote

new guy: its a Quiklok stand from Yamaha. abt 30 bucks i think.
reliable? how much abuse are u intending to put your guitar stand thru? there's another version which has an arm that secures the neck so ur guitar doesnt fall over.
