Hmm.
Hi there. For all you guys who have seen me post before, but have no idea what I do... here's a peek into part of my musical world.
http://fgg.dmusic.com
For the record, I'm one-half of a 'progressive country' duo. My pal and I, we play anything from country to acoustic rock to gospel to bluegrass and folk. More often than not, we use country and folk instruments and utilise them in rock or pop structures, hence the tag 'progressive country'.
I play: acoustic/electric guitar, mandolin, blues harp, bass
My pal plays: banjo, piano, acoustic guitar, mandolin and bass.
Both of us sing either lead or backup vocals.
These are a few recordings which we have done over some time... there is a marked difference in recording quality comparing tracks 1-9 and the later ones. This is because tracks 1-9 were done with little or no recording experience, and by the time we got to the remaining tracks, our mixing and recording skills/techniques have improved somewhat. Most notably is the absence of drums or percussion.
The Fuzzy Green Grass have been "in operation" since early 2004, and we hope to receive input regarding our music from all you softies out there. So please enjoy.
