hmm, what pedal is raw enuff? scouting around for one now that is really raw and gritty on chords yet is full of presence, got any recommendations? thought the ocd would have done that but yea it is a lil too bassy and smooth voiced

I've not tried a lot of pedals but personally, I feel that RAT2 is pretty raw, gritty and big-ass sounding to me which surprisingly cleans up really nicely with the volume knob rolled down Do try it out to see if it floats your boat too.

I recently have had the chance to have alot of time with the fulltone gt500, courtesy of our mr misse. Its awesome. If your looking for a really gritty and raw kinda gain, you really need to try it out. Just an extra bonus, the boost side is terrific as well. Seems to be a modified fat boost with some ideas "borrowed" from the timmy pedal. EQ is much more balanced the OCD. Excels at medium to high gain sounds.

The only thing why its not replacing my crunch box is because i play too much 80s-cock-rock and i need that cranked jcm800 distortion.

brandon, you should post the vid clip where you were playing w your LP..the one I really liked. I'm assuming that was using the OCD?

Actually that LP video is with the m.i audio crunch box. Still my favorite gain box. Seem to be able to coax alot of nice gain tones from that one red box.

Hey guys, I'm rather hyped up now my the hype and input that everyone's giving about the OCD.
So for my case, does the OCD suit me if I want a boost to be used together with my DS-1 Beez mod? Or do you guys recommend the BB-Preamp or something else?

I'm looking for it to boost my output, and to give me a more punchy and crunchy sound.
