I have for sale this beautiful Yamaha FG180 Red Label acoustic guitar crafted in the early 1970ties. This Made in Japan beauty needs no introduction as it is Yamaha's most iconic guitar.
Why you may ask? Well, the FG180 Red label was the first ever dreadnought size steel string guitar made by Yamaha. It was literally the steel string guitar that started it all for the entire line that you see today. You can call it the granddaddy of Yamaha guitars so to speak.
This is is truly rare as hen's teeth in Singapore. To put it into context, Yamaha Singapore did not even have a local piece to bring out when launching their the reissued Red Label FGX5.
This guitar is a cannonball and it has relatively comfortable action with a stable neck. Despite being almost 5 decades old it truly plays beautifully and is in relatively good condition for its age. No major scratches although there are a couple of dings. Please note that this is a guitar that is almost 50 years old before so what matters more is the fact that the key components are original especially the iconic open back tuners.
You can test it out when you come by to test and collect the guitar. WA at 9112-8560 to purchase this icon of a guitar which at $999 is priced very fairly as trying to import this from anywhere else will certainly cost you a bomb.
