Selling my Warwick Streamer $$ (Double-buck) 5-string bass in cool Nirvana Black finish. Made in Germany in 2010, bought it from a shop in April this year.
A versatile bass that spoils you for tone options by allowing its 2 x humbucking MEC MM-style pick-ups to be run in series or parallel and also tapped into single coils each. 2 x 3-way toggle switches let you do this easily, like a pilot manning his jet-fighter. Push-pull knob activates bass and treble boost / cut powerful MEC preamp EQs (use with care!) or just leave it soft and passive. The famous Sound of Wood growl is now given more controls at your fingertips. (Anything else u need?)
Looks-wise, it's an EBMM without its "chunkiness" but dressed in a sleek Warwick design. And oh, it has maple neck, hence, requires little maintenance, hence, no worry about "that Warwick myth". Simply put, everything good about a Warwick for the average 'kiasu' is in this bass.
Here some specs from the bass taken from Warwick site :
• US Swamp Ash body with Ekanga veneer layer between back and top (sandwich construction)
• Maple neck with Ekanga veneer stripes
• Wenge fingerboard
• Scale length: 34" (long scale)
• 24 frets
• Passive MEC MM-style humbuckers
• Active MEC 2-way electronics
• Two 3-way mini-switches for separate configuration of the humbuckers (serial / parallel / single-coil)
• Warwick tuners
• 2-piece Warwick bridge
• Warwick security locks
• Gold hardware ... the chicks love this, trust me!
• Just-A-Nut III Brass

No gig coming and playing alone at home do not justify keeping this bass.
