40 watt all-tube amp for sale. The amp has been serviced and maintained by Goose (last serviced in June/July this year).
I have replaced the tubes and added wheels to aid transport. The tubes are matched by dougtubes:
Currently, the amp is tubed with the following:
JJ EL84's and for the 4 x 12AX7/ECC83's: Tung-Sol in V1, Penta Labs in V2-V3 and a Sovtek LPS in V4. One of the 12AX7s have been replaced (but can't remember what I replaced it with).
The stock speaker has also been replaced with Celestion G12H.
Goose has also modded the amp with a heatsink to address heat issues associated with the model.
Essentially, this amp is fuss free and good to go/gig.
Does the classic saturated Marshall roar well, and has surprisingly decent cleans. Takes pedals well.
I'm selling to get a single channel amp as my musical tastes have evolved. The amp is currently on consignment with Goose (contact me for details on how to view/test it), so you can try it.
Looking at $750 for the amp.
