started as a made in usa you dirty rat with a lm308 op amp and germanium diodes.
since then, a perf "daughter" board has been added and attached to the battery cover with 4-dip switches, led and silicon diodes. all diodes are switchable via the dip switches.
in simpler terms, you get a you dirty rat (germanium), turbo rat (led) and original rat (silicon) by mucking around with the dip switches. when all switches are off, clipping is via the lm308 which works effectively as a boost if you ever need one.
for those wondering which rat is right for you, might as well get this and have it all for just $160.
